Introducing FibreGuard PRO May 27, 2021

We are proud to have recently launched our first FibreGuard PRO Collection, Lisia, a silky velvet range that is well suited to residential, healthcare, hotel and leisure upholstery applications.

FibreGuard PRO fabrics are anti-moisture, mildew and odour resistant, as well as being luxurious and easy to clean. Not only do they hold the same characteristics of our regular FibreGuard collections but they also possess special properties that ensure that liquid and moisture cannot penetrate through the fabric onto the inner foam. As a result of this, you no longer have to worry about accidental spills causing bad odours and mildew by attaching themselves to the yarn or the upholstery foam found inside the furniture. You can simply clean the spillage off using only water (tougher stains may require a small amount of standard, white household soap) and the fabric will continue to look as good as new. This is due to the light, breathable membrane that is applied to the back of the fabric thus preventing the penetration of liquid while still allowing air to continue to circulate.

We understand that the events over the past year have made hygiene considerably more important, both in our homes and in healthcare, hotel and leisure facilities, that is why we have chosen to offer FibreGuard PRO which has had an anti-microbial solution applied during the production process to give the fabric that extra level of protection for whoever comes into contact with it against germs and bacteria. FibreGuard PRO fabrics are proven to reduce the growth of bacteria by more than 90%, this is why FibreGuard Pro fabrics are a great choice for tough, high traffic areas such as residential care homes, hotels and healthcare environments.

Like our other FibreGuard fabrics, our FibreGuard PRO collection Lisia, is also OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified. This means that it is completely free from harmful chemicals and safe for pet and human use and  guarantees that it does not release any harmful finishes or chemicals into the environment.
